Town Hall Arms

The Society was founded in 1966 after a series of lectures, in the old Primary School building, left the audience 'wanting more'.

The Society has always followed a broad range of interests in its lectures and activities covering science, art, history, music and theatre, with expert speakers in all these fields and more.

Our visits include orchestral concerts. theatre, opera, historic houses and gardens.
