The Blenheim Orange Apple

The variety of apple called the "Blenheim Orange" was raised in a garden here by George Kemster, tailor of Old Woodstock, who died in September 1773.
The apple was awarded the Banksian medal on its first exhibition in London in 1822.
The original tree was blown down in 1853.
